SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher hailed his side’s professionalism following a comfortable win against Tamworth at Roots Hall.
Early goals from Bim Pepple and Oli Coker extended the Shrimpers’ unbeaten run to four games.
And Maher was pleased to end a busy week with a routine win.
“A 2-0 win and a clean sheet, we would’ve taken that before the game,” said Maher.
