HARTLEPOOL United went from feast to famine on the goals front having battled to claim a point after being reduced to ten men for the fifth time this season.
Eight days after losing an eight-goal game with York City, Pools had to make do with a point against an Eastleigh side sitting two points above them in the National League.
Hartlepool should be happy with that after being forced to play with one man less following Dan Dodds’ red card with just 15 minutes on the clock for a reckless tackle on Jake Vokins near halfway.
