WOKING ended their nine-game winless run in the National League against a Boston United side now without a victory in 11 matches themselves.
Max Ward’s 38th minute volley settled the contest, much to the relief of Cards boss Michael Doyle.
“As a club we needed that result and I’m delighted for everyone,” Doyle said. “It wasn’t the prettiest but a win is a win.
