MAIDSTONE UNITED got back to winning ways after two defeats on the bounce with a five-star performance against Boreham Wood.
After successive defeats to Eastleigh and Oxford City, the young Stones responded from the off.
The opener came after a mis-kick from Wood keeper Darius Cnacoschi landed at the feet of midfielder Liam Parle, who chipped the stopper from 25 yards out to give Maidstone the lead in the 10th minute.
