BRAINTREE Town pulled further away from the National League relegation places with a gritty win over promotion-chasing York City.
Goals either side of half-time from John Akinde and Jermaine Francis secured the points for the Iron, as Adam Hinshelwood’s York fell further behind league leaders Barnet.
