Southend United moved to within a point of the National League play-offs after this win over Oldham Athletic at a packed Roots Hall.
Keenan Appiah-Forson’s early header secured an important victory for the Shrimpers.
The three points keeps Southend within touching distance of seventh place Gateshead, trailing by just a single point.
