A valiant defensive performance from bottom-of-the-table Ebbsfleet United saw them win a hard-fought point at play-off contenders Rochdale in the National League.
Inspired by a debut performance from on-loan midfielder Aaron Bolger and a fine first start for on-loan signing Josh Passley, Fleet were able to match Rochdale in all areas of the pitch.
“I thought we were absolutely tremendous: Our shape, our application, the tactics, the way the boys carried out what we asked them to do,” said Ebbsfleet manager Josh Wright.
