Gateshead’s attempt to end their AFC Fylde hoodoo floundered as the National League relegation threatened visitors earned a precious point on Tyneside to put a spoke in the Heed’s promotion drive.
The Heed have incredibly managed just one point and goal in TEN previous league meetings between the two sides.
Regan Booty gave them a first-half lead.
But Harry Davis headed the Coasters level on 64 minutes to hand boss David Longwell a precious point in his first game as permanent manager until the end of the season.
