Nuneaton Borough sign former Swansea midfielder Kemy Agustien

National League North club have made a real statement of intent by signing former Premier League midfielder Kemy Agustien.
The 31-year-old made 39 appearances for Swansea City between 2010 and 2013 and has also represented the likes of Brighton, Crystal Palace and Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, in what has been a distinguished career.
Agustien played for the The Netherlands at youth level but has since gone on to represent the Curaçao National Team, winning a total of 13 caps for the Caribbean nation thus far.
The midfielder told Nuneaton’s official website, “I’ve heard a lot about the club and the future plans.
“I know Owain Jones and Curtis Obeng from my time at Swansea City and I’ve heard a lot about what a good coach Nicky is, so I’m excited to join and looking forward to playing in the United Kingdom again.
“I’m hoping to play my way back into the first team for Curaçao and help them qualify for the CONCACAF Nations League and Gold Cup.”
