Guiseley have strengthened their squad for next season by bringing in defender Andy Halls as they look to bounce back into the National League at the first time of asking.
Halls arrives at Nethermoor Park having left Chester at the end of last season.
The defender becomes the fourth player to leave the Deva Stadium to join former Chester boss Marcus Bignot at Guiseley this summer, following in the footsteps of Harry White, Jordan Gough and Ryan Astles.
Halls began his career with Stockport but is probably best known for his four year spell at Macclesfield where he made over 150 appearances for the Silkmen.
The 26-year-old has also picked up four caps for the England C team.
Guiseley crashed out of the National League last season after a disappointing campaign in which they finished bottom of the table. However fans will be hoping that under the guidance of joint managers Russ O’Neill and Marcus Bignot success will soon return to Nethermoor Park.
