National League North side AFC Telford have completed the signing of winger Adam Dawson from league rivals Southport.
The 25-year-old spent the latter part of last season with the Sandgrounders after leaving Tranmere Rovers in December.
Dawson began his career with Wigan Athletic and has since gone on to play for a host of clubs within both the Football League and Non-League including the likes of FC United of Manchester, Nuneaton Town and Notts County.
The winger linked up with his new teammates on Wednesday evening and Telford boss Gavin Cowan has expressed his delight at the signing.
He said: “Having played with Adam I know what an unbelievable talent he is, he also had a lot of experience at this level for a 25-year-old.
“We understand we need to get the best out of him, he needs to be loved but in convincing him to come to us I told hm our fans will welcome ho, and I have no doubt he will soon become a fans favourite as he’s that type of player”
