National League North club Boston United have continued preparations for next season by announcing the double signing of Grant Roberts and Andre Johnson.
Roberts, a 27-year-old who is most comfortable plying in midfield, rejoins the Pilgrims after enduring an injury hit two years.
Before suffering a serious knee injury, Roberts was part of the Boston side which reached the end of season play-offs in both 2015 and 2016.
Meanwhile, Johnson arrives at York Street after impressing during a trial period where he found in the net in friendlies against Basford and Tadcaster this summer.
The 22-year-old front man has National League North experience under his belt having represented Boston’s divisional rivals Alfreton Town last season.
