HAMPTON & Richmond’s 21-match unbeaten league run came to a juddering halt as a determined Bath City picked up a first win against the Beavers since August 2007.
First-half goals from Frankie Artus and Jack Compton, from the penalty spot, proved enough against Alan Dowson’s men, who missed the chance to go joint top of the table.
Bath took the lead on 17 minutes when Compton’s precise free-kick was nodded in by Artus from six yards out.
