TRULY a game of two halves – as visitors Hungerford, who had gamely defended an early lead, conceded twice just after the interval, and a resurgent Borough finished comfortable winners.
The Crusaders had stunned the Sports with a smartly-taken opener after just four minutes, Dan Bailey drilling in Alfie Whittingham’s quick pass. They then set up with a disciplined 4-5- 1 shape to keep a rather listless Eastbourne at bay, and it worked effectively enough.
