A LATE 30-yard strike from Ryan Watson gave Scarborough all three points against Bamber Bridge at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium.
The game was only four minutes old when Scarborough won a penalty after captain Michael Coulson was brought down inside the box.
Coulson himself took responsibility from the spot, firing the ball into the bottom corner and Scarborsending keeper Danny Roccia the wrong way to give the visitors the lead in a tight and tense start to the game.
