RADCLIFFE ran out comfortable 1-0 winners over Matlock Town at the Neuven Stadium.
It was far from straightforward though as they were forced to dig deep and deliver a performance against determined opposition.
Liam Ellis netted the only goal of the game shortly after half time to give Jon Macken’s men all three points.
The Boro had the first real chance of the game just four minutes in.
Danny Mitchley directed his header goalwards but it was smartly saved by Matlock keeper John Stewart.
