WITH the new main stand at Stonebridge Road nearing completion, Ebbsfleet United have unveiled plans for a 55-bedroom hotel based at their Kent base too.
The National League South high-flyers are planning to build four new stands at the ground in an aim to make the club self sufficient, with the owners keen to avoid any repetition of the circumstances which brought about the club’s near closure in 2013.
The main stand, where work started last summer, is due to be completed next month with the Plough End, currently a seated area, next on the list.
