AFC TELFORD UNITED moved nine points clear of the drop zone as a late strike from John Marsden saw off relegation rivals Worcester City.
Marsden pounced on a mistake from City keeper Nathan Vaughan to fire home the winner on 83 minutes.
There was little between the sides for much of the match, with Ebby Nelson-Addy going close with a stunning volley early on.
Telford striker Lee Hughes looked desperate to score against his former club as he headed wide.
But his strike partner Connor McCarthy went closest as his effort hit the outside of the post.
