RELEGATED Altrincham grabbed a late victory at Curzon Ashton to give their fans something to shout about towards the end of a poor season.
The visitors made the brighter start and pushed Curzon onto the back foot, Chris Lynch seeing a longrange effort go over the bar on 35 minutes.
For all of Alty’s effort, Curzon broke the deadlock on 42 minutes. Joe Guest broke from just inside his half, played in Matthew Warburton and he finished past Tim Deasy.
