IN A fairly mundane first half, there was little excitement and it took until the 42nd minute before Ferriby keeper Ross Durrant had to make the only save of the period when he parried a Matt Curley shot.
Tamworth had the better of the half. They were quicker to the ball, stronger in the tackle and more dangerous but did not have an end product.
Ferriby’s attacks were dealt with comfortably by the Lambs’ defence and visiting keeper Shaun Rowley did not have a save to make in either half.
