SALFORD City striker Jack Redshaw grabbed a brace to end Brackley’s unbeaten start and joint-manager Anthony Johnson was pleased with his side’s showing.
“We put in a really good controlled performance, creating chances against a very good side. We were committed, took risks and got out rewards,” he said.
The game started in lively fashion, with Brackley almost going ahead in the fourth minute. Adrian Williams found space on the right but his first shot was blocked by keeper Max Crocombe and the second cleared by Lois Maynard.
