A MIKE Phenix goal after 44 minutes proved to be the difference between two sides at the opposite end of the table.
An all-action first half looked to be ending goal-less but for Phenix’s clinical finish into the roof of the net.
Trinity keeper Henrich Ravas made a fine point-blank save to spare Kern Miller’s blushes when he turned the ball back towards his own goal.
With the game ebbing and flowing from end-to-end, it was difficult to comprehend the difference in the sides’ league positions entering the contest.
