IN WHAT was far from a classic, Gainsborough did just enough to extend their long unbeaten run through an Ashley Worsfold penalty 20 minutes from time.
The best chance of the first half fell to Curzon, Henrich Ravas saving the initial effort from Richie Baker, before Nathan Stainfield put his body on the line to keep the scores level.
Six minutes before the half-time break, Bradley Wells went closest to converting a superb Josh Lacey centre, but contrived to skew his effort over from six yards.
