SECOND-PLACE Harrogate Town backed up their New Year’s Day win over Darlington with an impressive victory at Chorley.
The first half had little to offer, with the only real chance falling to Magpies forward Marcus Carver who was put through one on one, only to find Town keeper James Belshaw was equal to it and able to tip his effort behind.
Jordan Thewlis put the ball into the back of the net for Harrogate nine minutes into the second half, flicking a fantastic whipped delivery from Joe Leesley over Chorley stopper Matt Urwin, only to be denied...
