SALFORD CITY produced a powerful second half display, scoring three unanswered goals to open up an eight point lead at the top.
A low-key first half yielded relatively few chances, the first coming for the visitors within two minutes. Marcus Dinanga could only drill a low shot straight at Salford keeper Max Crocombe. Both sides created a few half-chances after that with Salford going closest when Jack Redshaw flicked Michael Nottingham’s cross from the right just over.
