LAST season’s losing play-off finalists Brackley Town inflicted Ashton’s second home defeat of the week with a convincing display.
The first half was a tight affair and after Shephard Murombedzi had cut inside and brought a low save out of David Carnell, the visitors were gifted the opening goal.
On 16 minutes, Aaron Chalmers miscued a clearance and then both he and Matty Hill tried to clear, leaving James Armson time to slot the opener.
