TORQUAY keeper Alex Bass made an 88th minute penalty save from Simon Dunn to deny newly promoted Slough Town all three points in an entertaining game.
Referee Steven Hughes pointed to the spot when substitute Ben Harris was fouled en-route to goal, but Dunn failed to beat Bass from 12 yards.
The Gulls keeper leapt to his left to palm away the spot kick, which was at a good height for him, and prevent the rebel from picking up their third straight National League South win.
