CHORLEY’S perfect start to the campaign continued with a hardearned victory at Croft Park – despite being reduced to ten men.
Goalless at halftime, the league leaders finally broke the deadlock through Alex Newby’s 66th minute penalty with Josh Wilson adding a second.
First-half substitute Courtney Meppen- Walter was then dismissed for bringing down Robbie Dale in the box, allowing the winger to reduce the deficit from the spot. The Magpies had won their opening five league games.
