CRAIG Elliott’s Boston United put three straight defeats behind them as they deservedly claimed victory at a damp Edgeley Park.
The Pilgrims had the better of the early stages and County captain Ashley Palmer was forced into a goal-line clearance after Nicky Walker rounded Ben Hinchliffe and fired.
The new partnership between Walker and Ahkeem Rose on debut was causing County problems and it was Rose who broke the deadlock with a looping header from Walker’s whipped in cross.
