SIMON Heslop’s brilliant winner saw York City come from behind to secure all three points at Southport.
Heslop struck in stunning fashion from 25 yards, unleashing a breathaking first-time strike which went in off the underside of the crossbar to complete a fine comeback with seven minutes to play.
For much of the first half it was one-way traffic in favour of Southport, whose reward for a bright start was a seventhminute opener scored from the penalty spot by Dion Charles after David Morgan was felled by goalkeeper Adam Bartlett.
