Resurgent Rebels romp past Spartans

BLYTH Spartans’ mini-revival shuddered to a halt as a resurgent FC United romped to victory.
The Red Rebels scored three goals and would have doubled but for Blyth keeper Peter Jameson and profligate finishing.
Two goals inside two first half minutes put the Red Rebels in the driving seat.
Kurt Willoughby grabbed the opener on 19 minutes. A Rebels’ counter-attack left Willoughby on-on-one with Jameson and the striker made no mistake.
