JIMMY GINNELLY made an immediate impact as Nuneaton Borough manager, steering the bottom-of-the-table team to only their third win of the season at relegation rivals Darlington.
He was only given the job on Thursday, with a monumental task ahead of him at a club with issues off the pitch and a team that had a -25 goal difference before their trip to the North-East.
But they won as Darlo spurned their scoring opportunities, with Boro leading at the break as Ryan Edmunds volleyed home from a tight angle after a free-kick.
