ANDREW NELSON’S belting goal livened up a dire game and gave Darlo back-to-back victories.
The Quakers followed up their 5-1 demolition of York City on Boxing Day 5-1 by beating Ashton United, with Nelson scoring both goals to take his tally up to six during his month’s loan from Sunderland.
He put Darlington ahead in a lifeless first half, pouncing on a Robins defensive mix-up in the 37th minute, intercepting a pass and coolly lifting the ball over goalkeeper Luke Pilling.
It was one of the few noteworthy moments of the first half....
