RYAN SHENTON scored the only goal of the game as Curzon Ashton maintained their winning start to the New Year in a game that saw York manager Sam Collins leave the club.
York looked like they were going to boss the game early on as they were camped inside the Curzon half in the early stages of the game. But Cameron Mason was only called on once to make a near-post save after Liam Agnew set up Jordan Burrow for a drive.
Curzon had their first shot of the game on 11 minutes when Ryan Brooke tried his luck from distance but it went narrowly wide.
