SPENNYMOOR TOWN recorded their fourth consecutive win in all competitions with a victory over play-off rivals Chester.
Ryan Hall leapt over Blues keeper Grant Shenton before finishing to give Moors the lead, then Spennymoor stopper Matt Gould superbly kept out a Gary Roberts penalty soon after the break.
The three points were sealed ten minutes from time when Glen Taylor’s strike took a deflection and wrongfooted Shenton.
In a first half of few chances, Taylor sliced an effort wide before he was denied by the alertness of Shenton.
