Thacker gets it started for Reds

ALFRETON picked up their first win of the season after putting three past a fragile Blyth Spartans side.
Defender Josh Thacker put the Reds ahead just before the break when Spartans keeper Nathan Harker punched a Danny East free-kick clear, but only as far as Thacker who calmly finished.
The Reds then doubled their lead early in the second half through midfielder Bobby Johnson, who broke into the Spartans half before driving an effort into the top right corner from 30 yards out.
