SECOND-HALF goals from Zehn Mohammed and David Morgan earned Southport backto- back home wins.
The three points were reward for the perseverance of the home side, who had been frustrated by bottom club Blyth until Mohammed opened the scoring midway through the second half.
The on-loan Accrington defender had been brought on as a substitute during the first period after an injury to Dean Winnard. And just as it looked as though the Port would struggle to break the deadlock, Mohammed headed home a Brad Bauress corner to put the Port ahead on 66 minutes.
