THE dismal weather set the scene for a dismal display for Alfreton – but two-goal Rob Ramshaw continued to shine.
It took three pitch inspections to finally get the go-ahead – and when it did Spennymoor further dampened the spirits at the Impact Arena.
The visitors started the brighter, and took a deserved lead on 25 minutes when Ramshaw headed home from close range.
