GATESHEAD conceded a goal at home for the first time in over nine hours – and went on to concede another two.
The Heed hit back through Nicky Deverdics and Josh Kayode but couldn’t force an equaliser.
It was a fine away win for Guiseley who made Gateshead pay for defensive frailties. Striker Sam Scrivens fired wide of the far post, the visitors having an effort ruled out a minute later – Aaron Martin pulled back for dangerous play after his overhead kick flew into the top corner.
