A GOAL four minutes into the second half from former Chester player Andy Halls gave Curzon Ashton their first away victory of the campaign, and severely dented the home side’s promotion aspirations.
The visitors were full value for their victory, and Chester will be kicking themselves for a lacklustre and at times lethargic display, which basically made them architects of their own downfall.
In a sterile first half, both sides brought out saves from the opposition keeper.
