DOMINIC Knowles struck twice as Boston United opened up a five-point gap between themselves and sixth place with a comfortable win over Kidderminster Harriers The Pilgrims drew two saves from Will Mannion 20 minutes in, debutant Frank Mulhern fired straight at the keeper before Andi Thanoj’s 20-yard effort was pushed over.
Harriers contributed well to an open first half hour. Ashley Hemmings and Ashley Chambers linked up to send Austin Samuels through on Peter Crook’s goal, but his effort was gathered by the United number one.
