THIS WAS a dominant display from the victorious Saints but they faced little resistance from their hosts.
Wes York opened the scoring for Brackley with a simple finish inside the box after Alfreton’s defence were outpaced and he tapped home a simple ball across the box.
Dale Whitham then rattled the post from 25 yards for Alfreton before the visitors doubled their lead from the penalty spot when James Armson converted following a hold in the box.
