AFC TELFORD United shrugged off the first-half dismissal for Jason Oswell to rattle in three second-half goals and launch their season.
Oswell’s dismissal for two yellow card offences was main incident of a dull half on a wet pitch.
Between his two bookings, Oswell tested Matt Urwin in the Chorley goal with a 25-yarder, but when he saw red for a foul on Scott Leather the away side appeared to be looking good to rebound from an opening day loss to Brackley.
