FREE-SCORING Chorley made it 13 goals in two home games in this victory over a lightweight Blues side who barely struck a blow before they were three down and out of contention within 35 minutes.
The visitors did pull one back just before the break but Chorley’s fourth on 51 minutes killed any hope of a Chester recovery.
The visitors’ defence was opened up too easily by slick approach work and the Blues’ fragility was repeatedly exposed by crosses from which all four goals came.
