PAUL COX gained a valuable victory at one of his old clubs.
The first real opportunity of the game, came with 25 minutes on the clock, when the visitors saw a looping cross flicked on by Connor Kennedy whose effort went just wide of the goal and was eventually cleared.
Guiseley would soon nearly take the lead themselves, when from a corner Brad Nicholson was found at the back post, he was able to make contact and his header slammed off the crossbar and out of play much to the frustration of the home support.
