DARLINGTON overcame a calamitous start to defeat a lacklustre Kettering side who are struggling to find home comforts at the moment.
The Quakers gifted their hosts a goal headstart on seven minutes, when Jake Cooper’s nod back to Tommy Taylor had a little too much umph and ended up sailing over the helpless keeper and into the back of thenet. Aside from a Luke O’Neill free-kick that crashed into the bar on 26 minutes, that was as good as it got for the Poppies.
