Hereford 1-0 Chester: Haines’s cracker seals Bulls’ win

LUKE Haines’s fine strike means that Hereford’s ascent of the table goes on after the Bulls’ fourth straight win takes them to within three points of a play-off spot.
Haines fired in an unstoppable shot on 72 minutes after Zeli Ismael crossed from the right.
There was little to commend a first half which was too often interrupted by petty infringements.
Although Hereford had the first chance, when a 35-yard effort from Haines was turned away for a corner by goalkeeper Louis Gray, Chester had the better of the few chances there were.
