NEIL ROSS earned his first win as Farsley manager as his side defeated local rivals Bradford Park Avenue at the Citadel.
It was a typical hardfought, scrappy derby for the most part, with Will Hayhurst’s penalty separating the sides.
Both teams struggled to control possession in the opening knockings, but the first chance fell to the hosts, James Hanson seeing his half-volley from ten yards superbly blocked.
