HEREFORD held on for an important win in the face of a strong second-half fightback from Boston.
Tom Owen-Evans and Ryan McLean put Hereford in control at the interval but Danny Elliot’s strike early in the second period kept the visitors in it.
Hereford were quickly into their stride and, with just four minutes played, Owen-Evans found some space to score with a fierce left-foot angled drive.
Boston had chances with Scott Duxbury heading over and Joe Leesley shooting at Brandon Hall.
