JACK Lambert’s equaliser kept Darlington’s play-off hopes alive.
But Hereford, who had led through Mo Faal, must be thinking that their chance of post-season action is disappearing after their fifth game without a win.
Hereford were in front after only five minutes.
Darlington defender Jake Lawlor dwelt too long on the ball and allowed Tom Owen-Evans to get in a challenge.
The ball broke conveniently for Faal who drilled home a low shot.
